How training works

All training begins by getting participants grounded in the present moment using a mindfulness technique based on Focusing. From this place people are usually more receptive and tuned in to the rest of the workshop.  All workshops combine a mix of theory and practical components and incorporate a number of learning styles in the presentation format.

On-site Training. Courses, made up of three hour Units, run from nine to fifteen hours depending on the course. They can be run over consecutive days or weeks as the organization sees fit.

Each Unit can stand alone and may be broken down into two 1.5 hour workshops, which, when run on separate days, reinforces the practice and the benefit of grounded presence.

A Certificate of Completion will be provided at the end of each Course and can be used for Professional Development points or to demonstrate acquired skills. Each participant of the full course will receive a personalised ten minute recorded attunement to facilitate clearing the mind and being in the present moment. Contact me NOW to learn more.

Workshops are designed to appeal to different learning styles and may incorporate interactive powerpoint presentations, case studies, role plays and group discussions.

On Line Training. On-line training is available, with a minimum of five participants, which is handy when staff are geographically distant or unable to attend on-site workshops. Often being in ‘one’s own space’ means grounded presence is easier to get into. For that reason, on-line workshops are shorter in duration and typically run between 1 – 1 1/4 hours.
